The Czar's Challenge, 2024, mixed media, 16 x 32 in. / 40.64 x 81.28 cm. abstract painting honey bees are vanishing worldwideThe Czar's Challenge, John Wolfer, 2024, mixed media, 16 x 32 in. 40. 64 x 81. 28 cm. Acrylic paint, formica, pressboard, and found objects. A formica coated box that contains a map with propeller on one side and four compartments on the other, holding a painting of an army man figure, a jar of stones, a 3D target, and plastic farm animals encased in resin. My interpretation of the Czar's challenge myth.
