Too much bourbon-like character
To balance the prominent grip characteristic of Petite Sirah
especially cherries
offering tangy Meyer lemon and orchard fruit flavors
Borsao Berola 2015 skus_59702 Too much bourbon-like characterIntense cherry red color. Remarkable aromatic complexity with memories of black fruit and balsamic and toasted touches. Warm and gentle in the mouth, with soft but persistent tannins in perfect balance with the alcohol. Light and crisp, but also full of character with some nice red cherry aromas that pull you back for more and, with each sip, the wine seems to expand a bit more. Drink now or hold.
