Soccer Mommy - Sometimes, Forever (Exclusive Orchid Vinyl) (New Vinyl) NR. 02.10.24 B2 Sober II (Melodrama) 2:58

Description

B2 Sober II (Melodrama) 2:58

A sonic landscape that evoke’s Terence Malick’s Montana Badlands as much as Ingmar Bergman’s windswept Fårö Island

as heard on the amazingly bombastic "Baron Potato Blues" or the gigantic McCoy Tyner/John Coltrane-influenced "Horizon" which sees each member of the trio (Satoshi Denpo is on bass and Yoshinori Fukui is on drums) demonstrating their virtuosity for 9 exhilarating minutes

channeling energy into deeply psychedelic and emotional compositions that manage to balance rampant experimentation with an indiosyncratic pop sensibility
