However, the more I examine those (and subsequently these) notes, the more I believe they were actually strapped. There is no indentation at the edges, so I don't believe they were banded (rubber or otherwise). But a tight strap would explain the bends better than having been folded. As before its really only visible on the reverse, obverses appear
