Marchesi di Barolo Maraia Barbera del Monferrato Sparkling Wine Balanced with a nice backgroundA lively and brilliant dark ruby red color leads to intense aromas of black berry fruit with wild berry preserve and vanilla and toasted oak notes. The palate is clean and full bodied with some warmth that is balanced by a lively acidity. This Barbera is an outstanding choice for pasta with tomato based sauces and red meat dishes or roasts and is enjoyable even on its own. Pairs with Pasta.
