COMMON LOON WOOD DUCK The colors of the sunrise

The colors of the sunrise started to appear filling the sky

a cup plant in the distance and a few other plants along with the mist drew my attention into this scene

I moved about with the tripod a bit isolating on this one flower to get a perfect shot that had a few drops of dew on the petals

I noticed these eastern daisy fleabane plants close to where I was photographing with the early morning soft sunlight that was falling perfectly on these flowers

COMMON LOON WOOD DUCK The colors of the sunriseI had been photographing the common loons for a few days and on this particular morning I was hoping one or two of the loons would come closer to the banks of the lake then they had the previous days. With this image, I had my eyes in the view finder of my Nikon camera using my 300mm f4. 0 lens on the tripod, checking out a loon when I lifted my head up and noticed this loon swimming just off shore checking me out.
