Al Nicol - Only Hoping [LP] Tommy Boy Music When I Lost My FaithBlack Vinyl. Al Nicol's debut album Only Hoping is true to it's title, exploring hope and love as antidotes in increasingly cynical times. Produced by Hiss Golden Messenger, the escapist yet hugely relatable record drapes Nicol's disarmingly honest folk psych Americana and glacial vocals in nuanced layers of exquisite organic instrumentation.
