even sit in the driver’s seat

I lived in Naramata for over twenty years driving back and forth almost daily on the Naramata Bench

I am transported instantly to that morning when I set out (earlier than normal for me) so that I could capture in paint a magical moment in time

Every day the men and their boats went out and every day the men and their boats came back from a hard day of fishing

After 30 years, I went back and fell in love all over again! I am drawn to the ebb and flow of the waves, as many are. I can walk for hours watching the patterns of water change in form and colour, listening to the rhythm of the waves and am constantly in awe of its never ending, changing beauty.
