Its made up of charming little squares, placed between sets of garter stitch stripes. A V neck, some shoulder detail, and cap sleeves in stockinette highlight the pattern perfectly. Thea intentionally used the garter stitch rows between the squares to keep her transitions crisp, and kept the contrast and detail to a minimum this time so the yarn and checkerboard pattern could really shine.
