this badge in in ex railway service condition and a small chip to the enamel in the lower left hand corner

Probably one of the most attractive handlamps are these Great Western Railway large "copper" top handlamps

on the mouthpiece part is stamped  "SIGNAL DEPT"

we put this in our workshop where it has been professionally repaired

RA 8284 AVONSIDE ENGINE CO WORKSPLATE NO 1603 1903 ship-zone-c this badge in in exA brass Avonside Engine Co , Bristol works plate from an 0 6 0 saddle tank locomotive , works no 1603 and built in 1912 and worked at the Hafod Colliery, Denbighshire and named "CHAMPION". This plate came to us with a small piece missing near the top right hand side, we put this in our workshop where it has been professionally repaired. The plate is in otherwise ex locomotive condition, the photo shows it at the colliery in July 1948.
