Art Square, 2024, mixed media, 5 x 5 in. / 12.7 x 12.7 cm. abstract painting Guilty by DissociationArt Square, Robyn McMurray Hurtig, 2024, mixed media, 5 x 5 in. 12. 7 x 12. 7 cm. Art Squares originated from a long work of abstract art on raw canvas. I cut the canvas into 55 pieces and attached each piece to a cradled wood panel. I then augmented each one to ensure they could stand alone as their own works of art.
