Formed as the towering bow of large 16th 17th century sailing ship, a galleon or ship of the line or similar. Marked DPOSE to the reverse (meaning it was a patented design), and featuring a double pin, it's French and the quality is excellent, complete with wirework rigging and hand engraved bulwarks.
