Caterpillar, Sunshine, Cosmo, 2024, minerals and natural resin on canvas, 30 x 40 in. / 76.2 x 101.6 cm. abstract vibrant jewel tonesCaterpillar, Sunshine, Cosmo, Katie Brines, 2024, minerals and natural resin on canvas, 30 x 40 in. 76. 2 x 101. 6 cm. In Caterpillar, Sunshine, Cosmo I use a rhythmic language of mark making to evoke the joy of a carefree summer day from childhood. Bright yellow shapes and navy blue lines cross the canvas, while soft pale pink forms lend warmth to the dynamic composition.
