Description

by the Turkana people of Kenya

These bangles come from the Benin people of West Africa

They are worn daily and often styled in stacks

We love its simple and organic shape alongside the amazing tones and patina of the wood from years of use

Hehe Stool 11 by the Turkana people ofOur Hehe stools have been hand carved from a single piece of hard wood by the Hehe people who live along the shores of Lake Nyasa in Tanzania. The low design of the stool suggests that the stool was made for practical purposes, such as milking cattle rather than ceremonial purposes. Each stool is a one of a kind vintage curation, whilst lovingly restored minor imperfections may occur.
