Heliogravure of Michelangelo’s Medici Tomb – Italian Architectural Print, 1900 drawing Origin: ItalyDate: Circa 1820Medium: CastDescription: A finely rendered heliogravure depicting Michelangelos Tomb of Lorenzo de Medici in the Medici Chapel, Florence. This early 20th century print captures the sculptural grandeur and architectural symmetry of the composition with Lorenzo seated in contemplative pose above the reclining figures of Dusk and Dawn. The piece balances classical gravity with quiet introspection, framed simply to let the historical subject command attention.
