I’m so excited to present my new favourite painting “Ljusnan” 122x182 which is a lot bigger than my usual standing paintings😄 I think big paintings are amazing since it feels like you could enter the world inside of the painting

which gives the painting a slightly blurry and mysterious effect

I wanted to capture the hour before the sun goes down in the water and colours the sky red

It is a bit more abstract than usual, with some straight lines in the center of the canvas. This creates an interesting mix when it meets the more playful and concrete details. Notice the small lake with the two swans and also the old bridge in the distance. To me, this painting almost feels like it
