Artek Aalto Stool 60 — Colour Seat Colour:Orange Seat Prefilled with NoAlvar Aalto was fascinated by wood, exploring its possibilities, testing limits, and discovering what modern production methods could be achieved. The stackable Stool 60 (est. 1933) is a result of this and best known for Aaltos invention for bending solid wood creating the famous L shaped leg. Referred to by Aalto as "the little sister of the architectural column." The Stool 60 received the coveted Good Design Long Life Design Award in Japan in 2019.
