RZR 170 Transmission Output Pinion #19 Yoshimura Whether you're hitting the streetsThe output pinion and ring gear are the final drive set in your RZR 170's transmission the pinion (this part, position #19) meshes directly with the ring gear (position #18) to send power out of the gearbox. Because they carry the highest torque multiplication in the trans, this pair takes more abuse than any other gears in the case. Whining under load, backlash you can feel, or visibly rounded teeth all point to a final drive that's on its way out.
