Study, Lost in the Moment Orange I have to grudgingly admit

I have to grudgingly admit that it was well worth the effort

the odds are in my favor to catch it with spectacular light

I was seated in front of the brass section and {{ BOOM }} when they hit the note

and I paused a bit before answering with the first thing that popped into my mind

Study, Lost in the Moment Orange I have to grudgingly admitLate October foliage glows in this moment from western North Carolina. Fall is one of my favorite seasons (just behind winter!) because of its bold color and crisp, clear skies to highlight the brilliant foliage. This painting is the initial study for a larger painting, Lost in the Moment.
