These were also produced after the war virtually unchanged making it basically impossible to say whether this is war time or early post war

German Sleeping Bag Hood box The leather is a littleOriginal button in hood for a German sleeping bag. Many of the wartime bags I have seen usually had one of these hoods with has a spring steel internal framework to form a little tent over your head. The hoods are often damaged or missing. This hood seems to be in overall good condition with a few stains. I don't feel any issues with the spring steel supports. The wool liner is still nice. All around this is a nice example to complete a sleeping bag.
