German Sleeping Bag Hood box The leather is a littleOriginal button in hood for a German sleeping bag. Many of the wartime bags I have seen usually had one of these hoods with has a spring steel internal framework to form a little tent over your head. The hoods are often damaged or missing. This hood seems to be in overall good condition with a few stains. I don't feel any issues with the spring steel supports. The wool liner is still nice. All around this is a nice example to complete a sleeping bag.
