Maxillaria nutans Vanilla The three prominent sepals createA graceful species from the cloud forests of Ecuador, producing nodding flowers on slender, pendant scapes that arch below the foliage. The blooms are elegantly structured with broad, pure white tepals and a deeply cupped, hooded lip richly marked with crimson magenta veining and a vivid orange yellow callus at the center. Light: Bright indirect light with 5060% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the upright, strap like foliage.
