A pungent blast of ashy peat smoke
matured in a single refill ex-sherry butt and bottled in February 2018
from which each cask can yield a maximum number of only 250 bottles
rather like the sweet smokiness of a fading wood fire with the fruity richness of ripe plums
Capital Gin Pink Lady Glenfiddich A pungent blast of ashyDistilled in Pretoria, this small batch, triple distilled hand crafted gin is made with a selection of seven botanicals, including hibiscus, thyme, vanilla and grapefruit. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml) Nose: Fragrant floral and citrus, sweet but grounded. Palate: Thyme shines here and balances the sweetness from the vanilla. Juniper takes a backseat here, well balanced. Finish: Smooth Hibiscus, long in length with a full vanilla finish. #GIN
