The Knox logo on the inside of the hat is almost completely worn off (you can still see it if you look close enough - last two pictures)

It is made of brass

but it is better to do it to reproductions than originals

The front says "American Red Cross Volunteer" and the back is marked "BBCO Sterling". Fairly good condition. Light wear to one corner of the red cross. Some wear and discoloration on the back. This is the wartime version. The postwar version has a plain white background. The Production Corps was the largest of the Red Cross Volunteer Special Services. They made and repaired 64 million pieces of clothing,
