Bulbophyllum purpurascens Acineta This outstanding primary hybridThis mini miniature epiphyte, growing on tree trunks in lowland and lower montane forests, often near water, at elevations of 900 to 1700 meters. It features small, tightly clustered pseudobulbs that each carry a single, tough, leathery, elliptic leaf. This plant has a creeping habit and is best grown mounted or in small pots. Light: Requires deep shade to bright, filtered light. Avoid all harsh, direct sunlight, which can scorch the foliage.
