pale red ground that has faded from the original darker red as can be seen on the verso

Hirad vintage green and natural20th century carpet from the Yazd Jahad province in central Persia. Finely knotted, with elaborate but rather geometric floral motifs in pink and cream on a midnight blue ground. Leatherette strips to the edges on the verso which will help it wear well. Excellent condition. This is a classic look but distinctly different from the standard design that you would find in a London carpet dealer that's why we chose it! This is a heavy carpet please email
