Ahnenpass Books and Familienpapiere Envelope part There is a small holeTwo Der Ahnenpass books inside a Familienpapiere oilcloth envelope. You would often need to prove your German heritage in order to get married or to advance at work or even to obtain certain promotions within the military. Both Ahnenpass books belong to the same person and both have a great many pages filled out although both still have a few blank pages. The envelope has some tears on the crease. The books have some age related spots.
