minor colour restoration to preserve integrity of pattern
Val vintage some colour restorationA 1930s to 1940s Afshar rug in fine condition rare for an affordable rug of this age. The unusual and intact oversewn ends make this a very neat piece. The palette of pinks and blues on glowing blue and green field. Small accents of pale orange. Motifs of stylised birds, animals and flowers surround the stepped central medallion. 185 x 134cm
