Bakelite Salz Salt Container for Field Kitchen Loose Lid medical It has infantry rifle insigniaOriginal German Bakelite salt container for the field kitchen. The lid is rather loose. I am not sure if this is the correct lid for this particular container or not. I know that there are actually a few different, but similar, versions of this container. The lid is dated 1938. There is a chip in the lid. A decent can for display. If you wanted to put a little work into fitting the lid, it could make a good usable container.
