Lepanthes pubescens Lycaste while small flowers emerge flushA visually stunning miniature species from the cloud forests of Ecuador, prized above all for its long, lanceolate leaves densely covered in fine trichomes that give the surface a rich violet silver iridescent sheen. The epiphyllous flower emerges directly on the leaf and features two sharply acuminate lateral sepals forming an open V shape, framing a jewel like globose labellum with a vivid blue violet iridescent center.
