White Porcelain Tea Cup — 2008 Good Design Award Winner Local Ceramics This extra slim Ohto's MinimoThe white porcelain tea cup is a versatile piece that can serve multiple purposes beyond just a tea cup. It is also ideal as a soba choko (dipping cup for soba noodles) or as a small bowl. Its appeal lies in the high quality white porcelain, crafted to highlight the transparency and purity of Amakusa ceramic stone. This piece was designed in 2002 by Yasuki Sakamoto of Hakusan Porcelain, a designer who studied directly under the renowned Masahiro Mori.
