I have an adult Herschel backpack and this feels very similar, but with larger zipper teeth and zipper pulls. Best backpack for pre-k Durable construction Plenty of pockets Great colors Personalization options Not suitable for kids under 4 No chest strap Some complain about thin material The L.L.Bean Junior Original Book Pack is a great next step when your child is ready to graduate to something that can handle the full daily pre-k load

Thumbs Up Versatile Lightweight Collapsable to a small size High quality materials used Bravo to Cotopaxi for making a difference in the world and finding innovative ways to reduce waste Thumbs Down The drawstring design is meant to be quick to close and open your bag but I did find it a bit cumbersome at times because it was hard to fully close Wished it had 1 or two more pockets for quick access Lacks shoulder padding but it makes sense because the bag needs to be compactable and light Awkward shapes and heavy items in the backpack may be uncomfortable due to lack of back padding and frame support Where to Buy This daypack can only be found online on their store for $49.95
