There were many reasons for the design of the original DepthRaider, but none as simple as wanting to get a lure down to that special depth zone few conventional musky lures reach
The setup is lightweight, well-balanced in the hand, and has a smooth, quiet spinning reel
Its super shallow and usually dirtier water up in those upper lakes which is good for an all-day bite
Initially available in 8000, 10000 and 14000 sizes, these reels boast a comprehensive features list that also includes 6HPB + 1RB corrosion resistant stainless steel bearings, Hydro Block watertight drag seal, machined aluminium screw in handle and loads more
