The intricate way in which half of these spokes fit into the drag hub is unique
These reels go way back with the Record being one of the earliest round reel produced by Abu Garcia and they have kept the tradition and original design largely intact
Its also a great place to catch big small-mouth bass and rainbow trout
In only two years, Ive beat the snot out of this reel, never cleaned it, left it in my truck for months at a time, and it still operates as if Id just pulled it new from the box
