Why Its Great: This reel delivers dependable performance at a budget-friendly price, making it a great option for anglers of all skill levels
When I first spooled the reel with line and tied on a hook, I looked up and down the rod trying to find a wire hook keeper, but shook my head when I didnt find one
This type of reel or ideally a slightly larger traditional baitrunner aimed at the carp market could actually pair quite nicely with a set of 10ft rods and will feel balanced, but if you put it on a 12ft or 13ft rod then it will feel too small, and will significantly hamper your casting performance
And where I live, youre lucky to get a few opportunities at legitimate wild brown trout of this caliber all year long
