The Avet HXJ 5/2 Raptor Plus MC is Avet's heavy-duty two-speed lever drag reel built for serious trophy big game fishing
Knot tying is easy and reliable with mono loop knots with circle hooks (perfection loop) and snelled knots for J-hooks are successful as is the simple fishermans knot when attaching your leader to the swivel
The big-pit or reservoir angler targeting genuine specimen pike on large swimbaits, fishing less frequently but with higher stakes per session, is better matched to the Okuma Komodo SS or Shimano Tranx 200
Jim Ross, of Fireline Fishing Charters in Rockledge, Florida, but more important, game fish dont pay much attention to it either
