Because this reel is so smooth, I had to reteach myself how to cast a bait caster Which to me I dont see as a bad thing, as I was a little rusty and a little practice never hurt anyone
Smooth - A Spartacus II bait casting reel has: superior shielded 7 + 1 corrosion-resistant ball bearings, CNC anodized aluminum spool with power launch and aluminum handle for smooth casting, powerful precision machined hardened aluminum main gears, and KastKing logo embossed hi-grade EVA handle knobs
As lure weight and casting conditions change, I adjust the brake for optimal casting distance
If I beach my yak to fish from the shore with live bait I use the 2 spinning outfits I keep in the gunnel
